About Morning Brew

Welcome

Mission

Morning Brew seeks to support fellow Christians on their faith journey by sharing & upholding Biblical truth, & encouraging each other to be examples of Christ in all we do.

Vision

Morning Brew is a Christ-centered community focused on spiritual growth & development as we navigate our personal relationships with Christ.

What?

Morning Brew is dedicated to bible study, faith-focused fellowship, spiritual growth, overall health and, above all, God.

In our weekday morning streams we focus on providing a positive and inspiring atmosphere where we have encouraging bible study and fellowship.

We provide our entire Bible study blog with a plethora of categories to help encourage Christians to grow in knowledge of God's Word.

We have an Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) Christian Guild as well as a Christian Minecraft Realm on Bedrock.

We also have a sector focused on family, men's fellowship, and ladies fellowship group that are private, invite-only groups, as well as our WTN that focuses on supporting Christian streamers, content creators, and gaming communities as they share the news of Christ in the gaming world.

Why?

Start every day brewing over the Word of God.

We were never meant to do life alone, so Morning Brew is here to do mornings together and get our days started with God as our focus and well-being on our minds.

It is vital for Christians to support each other in spiritual growth and development, healthy life habits, and positive fellowship and relationships.

Rules

  • No NSFW, profanity, discrimination, bullying, or harassment

  • Be welcoming, loving, respectful & fruitful in all conversations

  • Be mindful & respectful of different views & opinions

  • Participate in discussions with an open mind & soft heart willing to learn & discuss

  • Sometimes we all need to respectfully agree to disagree & move on

  • Grace should abound & biblical truth should be upheld always

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3

Code of Conduct

When you make a personal choice to live out God's mission, His will, His plan and go down this path we will face extra difficulties and heftier struggles. The devil will try even harder to make each of us falter and fail in all that we do. The devil will tempt us and whisper his lies, discouragement and anger to us all the more. It is inevitable, and this makes it imperative for us to come together and grow stronger in fellowship and fight the devil off rather than feed him by giving him what he wants. We need to stand united in all we do for His mission and community.

God comes first; in all you do, be honoring and glorifying unto Him.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:5

Family is your second priority, second only to God. Ministry comes after.

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8

Be active, involved, and diligent in each of our chosen roles as well as within the community.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23

Be a Christ-like example to our community and hold each other accountable

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14

Stand firm on Biblical truth.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Communicate effectively and respectfully;

  • Display patience, kindness, truth, and love to all

  • Do not be zealous, boastful, proud, rude, irritable, or demanding

  • Do not keep an account of mistakes

  • Do not delight in evil

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Keep your language and attitude clean and honoring to God

Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29

Beliefs

God

We believe there is only one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, the Creator of all things and without fault.

(Genesis 1:1, John 1:1, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Isaiah 44:6, Matthew 5:48, Psalm 18:10)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, fully man and fully God. His life reflected His Father in all things and was without sin. He died as a perfect sacrifice, resurrected from the grave, ascended back into Heaven, and will one day return to the Earth. We believe that by his incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute. It is because of Jesus that we may be free from the bondage of sin. Only through Jesus Christ can we come to the Father and have eternal life.

(John 3:16, Romans 5:8-10, Colossians 1:13-23, John 1:14-16, 1 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2: 21-25, Matthew 24:30; 44)

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. Through the Spirit, we become aware of our need for Jesus Christ and to repent. From the moment of salvation, the Spirit lives and dwells in us. He guides, equips, and empowers believers to Christ-like living.

(Acts 1:8, Romans 5:5, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, Galatians 5:16-15, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. It is divinely-inspired and its message is authoritative and without fault in its original form. It is to be believed in its teachings, followed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.

(1 Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Matthew 5:17-19, Psalm 19:7-11)

Mankind

We believe men and women, equally made in the image of God, enjoy equal access to God by faith in Jesus Christ. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”.  This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.

(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1, 2)

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self- improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:6, 1:12; Titus 3:5)
