Start every day brewing over the Word of God

Morning Brew is a Christian living blog and community that encourages followers of Jesus to start every day in scripture, rejoicing in the Lord, learning more about who God is, and thanking Jesus for His salvation, provisions, and blessings. We are here to grow in our faith and relationship with God every day.

Through our Bible study and Christian living blog, Christian gaming community, women's Bible study and fellowship group, Bible reading plans, and other groups and offerings we strive to build one another up as the body of Christ and edify one another by sharing in what God teaches and reveals to each of us on our faith journeys.

Our Bible study blog strives to answer questions about the Bible, who God is, and how scripture applies to our lives.

Our gaming community includes a Christian ESO guild and Christian Minecraft Realm. We have regular fellowship events that are designed to foster meaningful Christian-to-Christian relationships.

Our goal is to grow in faith and learn how to become better examples of Christ together in all areas of our lives.

We love to welcome new members into our growing community and are housed in Discord where we hang out, meet up, play, pray, study and build relationships with one another. We would love to meet and grow with you - join us today!

Our Bible study blog covers a multitude of topics relevant to Christian living and practical Biblical application. We focus on deep topical studies, Bible book overviews and  Bible translation studies in our God's Word category. Godly Living is all about living life as a believer in Christ and features categories for everyday Christian living, hobbies, food, and Christian homemaking. Within Godly Abiding we dive into Biblical application within a Godly family, self care, prayer and living an orderly life.

Our gaming community, which includes our Christian ESO guild and Christian Minecraft Realm, as well as our Christian women's group, the Vineyard, and all other events and offerings are designed to foster meaningful Christian to Christian fellowship. Our mission is to grow in faith and learn how to become better examples of Christ together in all areas of our lives.

Beliefs

God

We believe there is only one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is all-knowing, all-powerful, the Creator of all things and without fault.

(Genesis 1:1, John 1:1, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Isaiah 44:6, Matthew 5:48, Psalm 18:10)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, fully man and fully God. His life reflected His Father in all things and was without sin. He died as a perfect sacrifice, resurrected from the grave, ascended back into Heaven, and will one day return to the Earth. We believe that by his incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus Christ acted as our representative and substitute. It is because of Jesus that we may be free from the bondage of sin. Only through Jesus Christ can we come to the Father and have eternal life.

(John 3:16, Romans 5:8-10, Colossians 1:13-23, John 1:14-16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2: 21-25, Matthew 24:30)

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. Through the Spirit, we become aware of our need for Jesus Christ and to repent. From the moment of salvation, the Spirit lives and dwells in us. He guides, equips, and empowers believers to Christ-like living.

(Acts 1:8, Romans 5:5, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, Galatians 5:16-15, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s written revelation to man. It is divinely-inspired and its message is authoritative and without fault in its original form. It is to be believed in its teachings, followed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises.

(1 Thessalonians 2:13, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:14-17, Matthew 5:17-19, Psalm 19:7-11)

Mankind

We believe men and women, equally made in the image of God, enjoy equal access to God by faith in Jesus Christ. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”.  This attitude separates people from God and causes many problems in life.

(Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self- improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 14:6, John 1:12; Titus 3:5)
